About the Book

The book I am reading is a book I have been wanting to read since eight grade. We planned on reading the book in eight grade but we never finished it, in fact we never started it and I was disappointed. My teacher even made the class buy the book so I was ready to start. But now Im ready to read. The book is called Hatchet it was written by Gary Paulsen a famous writer. The book starts off by the main character Brian who is talking about something called "the secret". Brian is on a plain heading toward his fathers house in canda passing through the Canadian woods the plane Brian was taking suddenly fails and Crashes in to a river in the forest. Brian swims out of the plain, but as hes swimming he notices that the pilots are dead. When he swims to shore he finds himself alone, scared, and nervouse of whats going to happen.

My Thoughs About the Book

Well so far I havent read far enough to evaluate that this book is going to be a good book. This book won a Newberry Award so Im guessing it's good. Well Ill write back next week and since it's not that long Ill probably be finishing it.
